Facebook Creators update : Boosting Creators’ Success with Content Testing and Reward Opportunities

Exciting News for Creators on Facebook!

We’re thrilled to introduce some fantastic new tools and features to help creators like you on Facebook. Everything you need can now be found in the professional dashboard, your one-stop resource center for all things related to your content.

1. Test and Optimize Your Reels Content:

Selecting the perfect image and text for your Reels can be challenging. To make it easier, we’re introducing the Reels A/B testing tool. This tool allows you to test different captions and thumbnails on your mobile device to see which ones perform best. While creating a Reel on your mobile, you can test up to four different captions or thumbnails. The results will be displayed in your professional dashboard, and the winning variant will automatically appear on your profile or page unless you decide otherwise. We’re even exploring the use of generative AI to help you come up with different caption and thumbnail options in the future.

You can also effortlessly create Reels from your existing video posts and livestreams. On mobile, simply choose from “Your Content” within the Reels composer and add the finishing touches before sharing them on Facebook.

2. Keep Track of Your Progress and Earn Rewards:

In the past year, we’ve introduced various features in the professional dashboard to help you learn and earn badges for achieving your goals. We’re now launching the “Achievements hub” in the professional dashboard, where you can see all your achievements in one place, covering Education, Stars, Reels, and Progression. Plus, there’s a new achievement called “Reels streaks” that you earn by posting Reels weekly. Please note that you will only see achievements you’re eligible for.

To make these achievements even more rewarding, we’re testing rewards for reaching different milestones. Creators who are 18 and older, and complete all Progression levels, can become eligible for increased visibility in the Feed or feature the “Rising Creator” label on their page or profile, both of which can help you get discovered more easily.

Once you’ve completed all the Progression levels, you’ll also be eligible to participate in our newly launched weekly challenges. Every Monday, a new challenge sets tasks designed to help you continue your creator journey, like posting, replying to comments, or achieving a specific number of Reels plays and interactions.

3. Manage Your Content Easily:

We’ve added a content management tool to the professional dashboard. This allows you to view all your posts, reels, and videos in one place. You can take actions such as hiding content from your profile, moving it to the trash, and checking content performance insights. No more sifting through each post individually in your feed!

4. Access Powerful Insights:

Whether you create content on Facebook or crosspost from Instagram, the Insights in the professional dashboard provide you with the information you need to understand your performance on Facebook and create content that resonates with your audience. You’ll now see account highlights for the week, both aggregated and individual, revealing insights on your posting habits, audience, and content performance.

When you dive into content insights, you can now view data from the past 90 days, giving you a more comprehensive understanding of your content’s long-term performance. We’ve also introduced a range of new Reels metrics, including Reels-specific Reach, a distribution score, and an audience retention graph. These metrics will help you understand how your Reels are performing and what resonates most with your audience.

5. Easily Find Answers and Help:

Lastly, we’re launching search and shortcuts in the Creator Support Hub on mobile within the professional dashboard. When you have questions or need help troubleshooting something, the search function will display relevant Help Center articles to answer your questions. No more scrolling through endless articles to find answers!

New shortcuts on popular topics will take you directly to the right place, making it easy to check on your monetization eligibility, view payout information, and learn more about products like Meta Verified.
